Lillian Dube
Lillian Dube, Team Member.
2 year survivor.
Diagnosed: 2007. Age: 63.

I was diagnosed with cancer on the 12th December 2007.
After the initial shock, I felt that God wanted to use me to create awareness as I am known for my role as sister Bettina  in the health communication drama, “ Soul City”.

The cancer was discovered during a routine check-up. Early detection is vital and I cannot stress the importance of going for annual mammograms enough.  I appeal to every woman to do this one very important thing.
.
I have already created so much awareness out there, but my greatest wish is that government clinics should have testing facilities for all women.

I am very lucky to have a support group and very good doctors. I cannot wait to go on this Journey of Hope!
