How do you capture a life within the confines of a single page? How do you describe the journey through being diagnosed with breast cancer, through a mastectomy, sometimes another one, and then coming out on the other side clean, healed a new (but forever changed) individual? How, after all of that, do you look life square in the face and say "bring it on" once again? How do you embrace life and all it offers after being given a second chance?
The driving force (quite literally) behind the journey is 15 incredibly dynamic breast cancer survivors. Their stories alone should suffice to inspire anybody going through the challenge themselves; that there is hope, there is support, and best of all, in the form of these 15 riders, there is PROOF!
They come from diverse backgrounds; they come from different ethnic groupings, there are men and women, because cancer does not discriminate. But despite the hurdles in their various paths, their message is a universal one - HOPE springs eternal!
