How do you capture a life within the confines of a single page? How do you describe the journey through being diagnosed with breast cancer, through a mastectomy, sometimes another one, and then coming out on the other side clean, healed a new (but forever changed) individual? How, after all of that, do you look life square in the face and say "bring it on" once again? How do you embrace life and all it offers after being given a second chance?
The driving force (quite literally) behind the journey is 15 incredibly dynamic women who have all walked the road of breast cancer, and survived. Their stories alone should suffice to inspire any woman going through the challenge herself that there is hope, there is support, and best of all, in the form of these 15 women, there is PROOF!
They come from diverse backgrounds; they come from different ethnic groupings, because cancer does not discriminate. But despite the hurdles in their various paths, their message is a universal one – HOPE springs eternal!
