I had my first mastectomy in 2000 and with the second one done in 2004 I decided to rather focus on surviving cancer rather than being a lady. As time went by I realized that ones femininity does stay with you although one does not have breasts.
I wondered what it would be like to have breasts but knew that I could never afford the procedure. Instead of giving up hope I started praying to God for a second chance. On the 26th of October 2009 GOD gave me word that He will give me that second chance and ONLY two weeks later I received a call from Journey of Hope offering me a sponsored bilateral Reconstructive operation.
I was stunned, I praised God and contacted everybody that I know to share the good news. I am grateful to be able to experience the feeling of being a complete woman again. Praise God and thank you Journey of Hope.
