Day 7 -To the light of lichtenburg - 23 october 2009

Day7This was one of the highlights of the Journey for me as part of the crew and a non cancer patient when I got the opportunity to ride with Frieda from Delareyville to Lichtenburg. It was awesome to feel the wind against my face, the tar beneath my body and the total feeling of freedom. I can now understand why most of the Journey of Hope riders find healing on the back of their Harleys - Denise

Day 6 -Following the track to the east- 22 october 2009

Day6And so are all the guest house owners who not only opened their accommodations to us, but also their hearts! It was time to leave and head north. The road was bumpy and filled with big trucks. Several perfect photo moments were captured with the most vivid one probably Janie sitting at one of those well known concrete picnic table and chairs with a bottle of water and a "windpomp" in the background.

Good morning LambertsbaaiA beautiful sunny morning was just the right inspiration for three of the crew members to jog along the beach and venture into the ice cold Atlantic Ocean.
