Frieda - road to recovery

I am so happy to be back in George with my family and friends! After being 18 days in ICU and another week in Medi-Clinic in Pietermaritzburg, I was transferred to Geoge Medi-Clinic by air, with the assistance of ER24, who accompanied me on my trip. I have to thank my medical aid, Discovery, for this! They were absolutely wonderful.

I am back at home now and taking one day at a time. It is still a long road to recovery and I have to have a lot of patience with myself! I have such a thankful heart and know I am going to have a complete recovery. I am walking and I am alive!

I will not be back on a bike this year, but definitely next year. I will have to experience the Journey of Hope trip this year in a car. I would like to thank each and everyone that phoned and left messages, sent sms's, but most of all, prayed for me
